Emmys ratings: Ratings rise, while winner 'Breaking Bad' breaks records of its own

(This post has been updated.) The ratings are in, and the Emmys seem to have triumphed. And on a coincidental note, so has the show awarded for best drama. Early numbers say that the Emmy Awards attracted about 17.6 million viewers to Sunday night's broadcast, according to CBS, the most-watched telecast in total viewers since 2005.
